Specialist Diploma in Project Engineering Management
Objectives:
This course aims to empower learners with a sound knowledge and skills in the engineering operations to cope with the ever-changing dynamic environment. The learners will be exposed to a full range of engineering project management skills that is useful to succeed in today's competitive business environment. This course is ideal for students who wish to enhance their career or for those who wish to learn more about engineering project management. Graduates of the Specialist Diploma in Project Engineering Management can further enhance to the Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management course.
Course Duration:
The course (Full-time/Part-time) consists of 5 modules. All modules will be completed within 12 months

Course Time：
The course will be completed in 12 months.
Part-time: Two days each week, 7.5 hours of lesson time each day；
Full-time: Five days each week, three hours of lesson time each day (6 Months course + 6 Months industrial Attachment / Project)；
Schedule of the classes will be planned to suit the course’s needs.
There will be no classes conducted during public holidays and school holidays.

Prerequisites:
The applicant must meet one of the following requirements：

1 | Minimum Grade E in any 3 GCE “A” level including English and 2 Science subjects or equivalent (OR) |
2 | For international candidate should have Higher Secondary School equivalent (for eg. - India school education “12th Standard”) with subjects pass in English, Mathematics and Science (OR) |
3 | Minimum C6 in any 3 GCE “O” level including English and 2 Science subjects (Grade C6 and above) with minimum 3 years working experience in Engineering field (OR) |
4 | For international candidate should have Secondary School equivalent (for eg. - India school education 10th Standard) with subjects pass in English, mathematics and Science with minimum 3 years working experience in engineering field (OR) |
5 | Matured candidate with other relevant certificate qualification with 8 years relevant work experience (for only local students) |
Course Completion & Certification:
Upon completion of the 5 modules and Industrial Attachment or Project, those who fulfilled the required attendance and pass all the assessments will be awarded a Specialist Diploma in Project Engineering Management by Nanyang Asia College.
Attendance must not less than 75%（Part-time) or 90%（Full-time） and not absent without valid reason for more than 7 consecutive days.
