Objectives:

This course aims to empower participants with advanced knowledge and skills in the management of business operations to cope with the ever-changing business environment. The students will be exposed to a full range of advanced management skills that is useful to succeed in today ’s  competitive business environment. This course is ideal for students who  wish to enhance their career or for those who wish to learn more about business management.


Course Duration:

This course (Full-time/Part-time) consists of 8 modules. All modules will be completed within 8 months


Course Outline:

There are 8 modules in total:

Business Research Methodology;   

Customer Relationship Management;

Global Business Management;       

Management Accounting;

Management Information System;

Operations Management;

Organizational Performance Management;

Quantitative Methods for Business Management;


Course Time:

There will be 6 hours of lesson time each week(Part-time);

There will be 5 lessons x 3 hours each week(Full-time);

Schedule of the classes will be planned to suit the course's needs.

There will be no classes conducted during public holidays and school holidays.

Prerequisites:

Diploma from Nanyang Asia College or other recognized local/overseas Institutions..


Assessment Examination: 

There are two assessment papers:

Paper 1: Section A 20 MCQ (Open Book) (each answer = 2 marks= 40 marks in total)

Paper 2: Section B (50 marks in total) (Closed Book)

Essay Questions: To answer 2 out of 3 questions (each answer = 25 marks = 50 marks in total)

Attendance/Presentation: 10 marks


Course Completion & Certification:

Upon completion of the 8 modules, those who fulfilled the required attendance and pass all the assessments will be awarded a Advanced Diploma in Business Management certificate by Nanyang Asia College.

Attendance must not less than 75%(part-time)90%(full-time) and not absent without valid reason for more than 7 consecutive days.
